Just how much do we know about music? A better question will be… just how little do we know about music? And this question arises after listening to this group of Spaniards blend doom, atmospheric, depressive and drone music with bits and pieces of folk instruments and a mysterious pagan feel and image.
Orthodox is quite a good word for a band that has nothing conventional or “traditional” in their ideas; the name plays like a marvelous sarcastic declaration for a band that strays completely outside the path of what is consider modern music, and into a world of emotions, feelings and deep toughs that can only be achieve by careful attention to the melodies and sounds displayed in both their albums.
