Predominance of the Unholy is a real jewel, a great find, an evil treasure of the underground, not only for the Panamanian scene but for the global black metal community.

Equinoxio plays fast, straight up black as good or better as the big names in the world; the riffs are satanic and raw as they get but never forgetting that rhythm and structure should play a predominate roll on every track, therefore providing a heavy and obscure sound that never diminishes with the collaboration of a fast drum attack and a haunting vocal work.

This demo does everything right expect from creating a "hit single", a focus point in which you can base your first impressions on; the lack of such a song doesn’t really affect the entire production, since its length is easily digested and welcomed; after all why do you need a longer demo when you have 4 solid tracks!

Perhaps the weakest song on a great flow of black intensity is the last track “Enter the Path of Hallucination”, and I mean weakest in comparison with the other three, because of a sort of tempo “experimentation” that slows the song just so it can pick up more energy to continue, still there are some extremely catchy riffs on it, so theres not much to complain here.

This band really makes you wonder “why the hell haven’t the big black labels signed them?” this demo has that special quality of causing a reaction… a good reaction at impact, and is more than obvious the good sense of anger, fury, blasphemy that this guys can deliver; please pick this up, if you like raw black, you are not going to regret it!
