I was reluctant at first to even listen to this album, the cover pretty much had me going through so many assumptions, and non of them were good, I mean what’s up with a hot girl (that I guess is a porn star) and some burned corpses?, I guess they are burned, I’m no forensic expert…anyway I understand the whole gore and porn focus of many of this bands, and I always though of them as a joke to metal music, a funny joke; but wait there is actually good riffs in here.

This is grindcore with one of the most idiotic vocal effects I have ever heard, and I have heard a lot of idiotic vocals in my life, other than that, the guitars are nice, simple, fast as hell, sometimes they loose the whole flow of the track because of the speed they carry, brutality out of control you may say, and it’s true from time to time.

Every song begins with a movie intro, some I can recognize, like the zombie movies, and I think an intro from Terminator translated to Spanish by the Spanish (if you live in Latin America you’ll understand just how ridiculous those translations are), the songs are not at all complicated but they sure are catchy, like I say before the guitar has some nice riffs going on, and the bass is quite polished when the change is given; tracks like “The Chainsaw” show that “Oxidised Razor” is more than just gory images and shitty vocals, they can, if they want, create a song with one or maybe two tempo changes and a solid rhythm that can make you headbang.

If you like your grindcore all cover with nice guitars and catchy tunes, then “...Carne...Sangre...” is a good album for you, just try not to be discourage by the cover or the awful vocal effect placed on the record, yes there are some “typical” grindcore vocal interpretation here but is not enough to make you forget that electric vomit that keeps ruining some good songs.
