Ok stupidity aside, this is a damn good album, let’s put aside for a second the gore, and the “You’re bleeding to death as your giving me head” kind of lyrics, Amputated has created a record that dives into your wide open intestines and just forces you to follow along every riff, yes they actually have riffs in here!!!

This is death metal, with a clear and honest intention of disgusting and irritating the most politically correct and decent human beings in the planet, and that includes your mom and grandma, please don’t show them the lyrics of Amputated or they will have you committed.

With a solid song structure, catchy tracks, typical raw drum blasting, and great riffs…I think I already said that…well is true, this album is all about the riffs man!!!; the vocals are the usual gore oriented deep burps, with a tiny variation reaching way down to transform into a high pitch burp, you cant understand a thing this guy is singing about, and perhaps that’s best for you, unless the idea of Molesting Downs Syndrome Pre-Teens turns you on.

Pretty much every song has an intro from a movie, the majority are from “Quills” the movie about The Marquis de Sade, my favorite one I cant really pin point from what movie it comes from “I’m a colossal pervert, no form of sexual depravity is too low for me, am all vegetable, all mineral, I’ll do anything to anything” the guy’s voice saying this is just hilarious and the accent on the word pervert is great.

Maybe some people will get distracted by the movie intros, or by the gore displayed on the lyrics but the fact is that “Gargling With Infected Semen” is a solid death metal album, with a pretty appealing song flow and melodies that can vary from brutal to a more “groovy” state, presenting a band that knows how to write and perform a song regardless of their intentions.
