This is a great production and one of the best works presented by Dark Tranquillity, with the first song “The Wonders at your feet” the sound of the entire album is defined but not totally revealed, as there are other tones inside it that manage to show all the creativity and intensity of the band. Both guitars give the melodic, beautiful and aggressive touch to Haven like they have always done and clearly show that the band is still full of talent and desire to play music, the keyboard gives the record all of its moods and the entire environment of Haven is based in the creation of sounds by Martin Brändström, who’s work is impeccable, Mikael Stanne like always brings a different array of tones and styles to its voice, from powerful growls to clear vocals letting us know of the quality of interpreter that he is. In a bad note, the record from time to time gets a little too melancholic and heavy in sadness. This is an eleven track production that deserve to be listen to one by one while reading the lyrics if it is possible.
