Have you ever seen a very hot girl with a nice behind, quite and attractive and nurturing bosom, but there is something weird about her that you don’t quite understand but that makes you step away even though she looks extremelly hot, well if you are familiar with this feeling then you will understand why I didn’t like this album.

The guitars in “Inflict The Inevitable” are simple but heavy, a nice example of the mix between melodic death and thrash metal, nice blazing solos and a well paced drum work, is the vocal placement that makes me step away from this production, is like they just had an hour to place the vocals on some songs, you know it was like “just sing through this track, don’t mind the tempo changes and forget the hooks and the catchy chorus” don’t even get me started with the clean vocals, they should have just got rid of them by the time they realize that their singer couldn’t reach the high pitch, I mean if you are going to sing in clean vocals in dramatic segments you better have a nice or at least unique voice, if not why ruining the song with a halfcocked performance.

The album does have those nice moments in which you question yourself; that happens pretty much when the vocals are not involved in the songs, like at the end of “Dissector Of Souls” a great instrumental and brutal segment.

Perhaps the best track on the record is “Poisonous” fast, melodic and a nice vocal placement, is like the album gets better in this category just when it’s about to end, this may be bad for those that could only take the first 5 songs and discard this album before reaching the best section.

So in conclusion, the guitars are nice, the drums barely do their job, sadly the vocals ruin this one for me, besides it’s not like Fuelblooded was trying to reinvent the genre, so we will just have to wait and see if in the future they manage to fix that little flaw on the vocals.
