Blasphemous Inferno
Just a few years back I started to get into black metal, you know the basics: Emperor, Marduk, Dark Funeral, Venom, Immortal, 1349, so I’m not an expert YET but I’m getting the hang of it. One thing that I learn very early is that black metal is not just about the music, is about the image, about how evil and blasphemous one can be, and this guys try to do that (by this guys I mean Gnostic) they try to be evil, rebellious, but it just comes out dumb and retarded, a sample: "We live in the necro realm and do not fucking care about critical ass-licking crackwhore faggots that are too "broad-minded" to enjoy trench war chaos! To all blackened hordes, we salute you! And to the gay media, we shit on your souls as we laugh at your death!" (That’s printed in their promo cd; don’t know if it also comes in the official release).

So I don’t know if this is a direct insult to all the media, or just to the media that doesn’t like their music, or to gay people, or to broad-minded people, or to my mother… shit I’m confused!!

Well let’s get into their trench war chaos; this album consists in re-recorded demos, some EP’s and previously unreleased tracks, they may not be friendly with the media but the album is not that bad, I mean this is raw black metal it has that primitive sound and a really crappy sound, I actually enjoy it! This is not complicated stuff, is fast, is furious and has a certain approach to the general idea use by Marduk in Panzer Division Marduk (mainly in the drums, blasting as hard as they can).

This is a good recommendation to those people that love Demo tapes from 1980, to die hard black metal fans, and to metal fans that need some raw brutality after listening to complicated bands.
