The first track is so full of energy that you can’t help but wait for the next song to begin, and the next one after that, and so on. This group of Greeks give Nightfall speed, and melody of the highest standards, playing something between melodic black metal, gothic metal and some melodic death metal (It sounds like a weird mix, but they managed to clear every doubt once you listen to them).

There is some sort of debate between many critics, trying to define what genre to put Nightfall into, but you know what? It doesn’t matter; it doesn’t matter at all, because this album has every single corner covered with good musicianship, energy, speed, good lyrics and some mysticism.

This whole album is based in the thoughts that Jesus might have had while he was crucified and waiting for his death, no this is not a Christian band, the lyrics are based on all the carnal, dirty and violent thoughts Jesus might have had during his last moments.

Efthimis Karadimas vocals give every song a peculiar dark and beautiful sound when he wants to; the guitar riffs and clear and heavy, the drums are always given every song speed and power even in the most melodic parts of this production.

I am Jesus is an incredible album that you should have, is one of those works of art that include everything, good music, and amazing topic, great production and probably one of the most important characteristics is that it doesn’t matter how artsy it gets, is never boring or presumptuous. Get it NOW!
