Many discarded and left for dead this Germans the moment MTV decided to put then in their regular video rotation. When the pop world welcomed and marvel at the creations and shows being done by Rammstein, the metal media run in fear from the fans and critics that may confused fame with shallowness (some say is the same thing).

But don’t worry about them, this record may not be a return of the band to its roots, but is a very interesting new proposition.

It’s true that their general sound has gotten softer and way mellower than their previous works, but the fact that the compositions and the quality of the production have increased is undeniable even by their harshest critics. Many hate and I mean hate this album simply because of one song Amerika, a parody of the United States influence around the world, sadly that song is not the strongest one of the album but for some reason was one of the most played tracks by radio stations.

The record is not for death or black metal fanatics, this record is for people that like to flirt with nu metal, and enjoy a good old hard rock music, sadly the Germans image has been very well used by the media and that have created a general discontent towards their music more focused on the sales than in the art of recording and album, never the less this is a good album.
